La Boca is home to the legendary football (soccer giants) Boca Juniors, whose colours of blue and yellow adorn most of the houses and stores in this neighbourhood. Ushuaia – Tierra del Fuego National Park and End of the World Train - Half Day
Meet your local guide at local pier and start with your visit.
Begin the tour by driving along National Route N3, crossing the valley of the Pipo River and the foothills of Mount Susana, to the train station located in the area where the inmates of the old prison collected firewood.
The little steam train will wind along the trail that the prison train used to follow over bridges, swampy areas, and green valleys, making a short stop at La Macarena waterfall. On completion of the train ride and already in the Tierra del Fuego National Park, drive through the most attractive landscapes of the park, such as Lake Roca and Bahía Lapataia (where the National Route N3, part of the Pan-American Highway ends).
In different locations take short walks to appreciate the different species of the native forest and the protected fauna in the southernmost National Park of Argentina.

Not long now until you are in Antarctica, but first, it's time to earn your sea legs as we cross the Drake Passage, named after famous English seaman, Sir Francis Drake. However, Drake only discovered these waters by accident when strong winds blew one of his ships off course. The first actual recorded voyage took place 40 years later when Dutch navigator Willem Schouten successfully sailed the route in 1616. During the two days spent at sea, the Expedition Team will prepare you for your stay in the pristine wilderness. Want to know how to make your visit safe for the environment? The Expedition Team will teach you all you need to know, introducing you to important IAATO regulations that are there to protect you and these fragile habitats. After that, they will start their inspiring lecture program in the Science Center. Topics are delivered by a range of experts, equipping you with key information about Antarctica's explorer history from Shackleton to Scott to Amundsen, the continent's diverse wildlife and its rapidly changing landscapes. They will also show you how you can get involved in Citizen Science projects to carefully observe wildlife in Antarctica and help collect data for current scientific research. There'll be time to enjoy a range of taste bud-tickling meals in the ship's three onboard restaurants. Our guests, past and present, often have rave reviews about the food we serve on board. In the skies above and shores below, the likes of shearwaters, sandpipers, fulmars, prions, and many other seabirds can be seen. With all this to enjoy, even the ten days we spend here may not seem enough. Perhaps even more thrilling will be your first encounter with the huge colonies of penguins during one of our many landings ashore. Or, how about watching whales swim freely in their natural habitat from the ship, or if you are really lucky, while being out with the small explorer boats or in a kayak as part of an optional activity. Whatever wildlife encounters we might be fortunate enough to experience, we are careful to follow clear IAATO guidelines at all times. You'll see that we live and breathe sustainability and are proud to have the lowest possible CO2 footprint of all expedition cruises to Antarctica. During the Antarctic summer, new routes through the sea ice further south and below the Antarctic Circle often become possible. We'll be hoping for just that. MS Roald Amundsen and its strengthened PC6 ice-hull will attempt to aim for Marguerite Bay and to explore islands along the way. First discovered by French explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot in the early 20th century, the ol' romantic named the bay after his wife. As long as the weather and sea ice are favorable, there might be the possibility to visit one of the few research stations, as well as Adélie penguin colonies which aren't usually seen in the northern parts of the peninsula. Wherever we are and whenever possible, the Expedition Team will give you key information on the wildlife and the landscape to make your experience even more vivid. And of course, there will be both included landings and ice-cruising, as well as other optional activities.,

Ushuaia – Tierra del Fuego National Park and End of the World Train - Half Day
Meet your local guide at local pier and start with your visit.
Begin the tour by driving along National Route N3, crossing the valley of the Pipo River and the foothills of Mount Susana, to the train station located in the area where the inmates of the old prison collected firewood.
The little steam train will wind along the trail that the prison train used to follow over bridges, swampy areas, and green valleys, making a short stop at La Macarena waterfall. On completion of the train ride and already in the Tierra del Fuego National Park, drive through the most attractive landscapes of the park, such as Lake Roca and Bahía Lapataia (where the National Route N3, part of the Pan-American Highway ends).
In different locations take short walks to appreciate the different species of the native forest and the protected fauna in the southernmost National Park of Argentina.

Buenos Aires - Full Day Sightseeing Tour - 7 hours
Meet your local guide at local pier and start with your visit.
Explore some of the most recognizable landmarks in Buenos Aires. Find out about the history and culture of this city, as you take in some of the most significant spots. Start at the most important square in the country: Plaza de Mayo. The country was founded here in 1580, and today the most important governmental buildings are located here including Casa Rosada (Government House), Cabildo (City Hall) and Catedral Metropolitana (Metropolitan Cathedral). Continue through the cobblestoned streets of San Telmo neighbourhood, where the original porteños (Buenos Aires residents) settled in the early days. The next stop is picturesque La Boca, home to Caminito, perhaps the city's most photographed street thanks to its corrugated iron and brightly coloured houses. This block houses one of the few outdoor museums in the world, where artists exhibit work, related to the influence of mainly Italian immigrants who arrived at this port at the end of the 19th century. La Boca is home to the legendary football (soccer giants) Boca Juniors, whose colours of blue and yellow adorn most of the houses and stores in this neighbourhood. Drive towards Palermo, passing through Puerto Madero, a regenerated area where redbrick warehouses have been transformed into trendy restaurants and bars.
Once in the northern area of the city, drive past Palermo Chico with its impressive townhouses, tree-lined boulevards, and parks. Palermo Soho, on the other hand, combines the flavour of an old, working-class neighbourhood with some contemporary details, including ethnic restaurants, design stores and bars. The bohemian atmosphere makes it popular with Argentines as well as foreign visitors, and restaurants cater to all palates. Continue to Recoleta, one of the most elegant and sophisticated districts, visit Nuestra Señora del Pilar Church and Recoleta Cemetery, known for its rich architecture and famous personalities whose mortal remains it treasures.

Familiarize yourself with some of the most recognizable landmarks, as well as history and culture in the Paris of the South, on this half-day private guided city tour. Kick off at Plaza de Mayo square, the heart of the city both from a historical and political point of view, and site of its foundation in 1580 by Don Juan de Garay. The next stop is San Telmo with its cobbled stone streets and colonial buildings. Also visit La Boca neighbourhood, the tough port barrio and colourful working-class area. Before returning to the hotel, visit Colon Theatre, one of the world's greatest opera houses, with its sublime interior, every piece of marble, furniture and crystal, imported from Europe. The theatre took 80 years to be completed and finally opened in 1908. It combines many European architectural styles and influences, including Greek columns, French stained glass and Italian marble.
